My short story, "Bug Doubt" was published in Echoes of
the Ozarks, volume IV this fall. It's about a woman who moves to Arkansas to get away from the noise of the
big city, only to find the country has its own kind of noises.

Echoes of the Ozarks, volume III was published in 2007 and
included my short story "Gidget Goes to Hogeye." The title popped into my head one day and I came up with
the story for it. It's about a Sally Field lookalike who wants a man very different from the types she finds in
L.A.

The first humor piece I had published was in 2006, Echoes of the Ozarks,
volume II. "The Newcomers Field Guide to Hill Folk" was the first five "categories" of people living
in Northwest Arkansas I thought of. It's a fun look at life here and the people who live here, including diet, mating
call, and physical descriptions. It's been compared to Jeff Foxworthy.
